On Friday, TNSE announced that tickets for the 2016 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™ will go on sale beginning Wednesday, June 15th at 9:00 AM CT and running until 5:00 PM CT on Friday, June 24th. Here's the catch: this window applies only to eligible Winnipeg Jets seat holders. For those who do not qualify, remaining ticket packages will be released by the NHL at a later date, subject to availability.
The pre-sale will be managed online through the NHL Heritage Classic™ Account Manager using the same account ID and password you use to log in to your Winnipeg Jets™ Season Seat account. Each priority grouping is determined by your Winnipeg Jets Season Seat category for the 2016–2017 season (i.e. Suite Holder, P1, Loge, P2, etc.) and will be communicated to seat holders, via email, with a detailed explanation regarding the on-sale process.
Tickets are being sold as a package, one including both the outdoor regular season game between your Winnipeg Jets and the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday, October 23rd, as well as the previous day's Alumni Game. For those on the fence when it comes to spending between $185 and $669 in pocket change, there's a marketing campaign inspired by everyone's favourite Prometheus trailer:
