After being drafted in the fourth round in the 2014 draft, Nelson Nogier has been signed to his Entry Level Contract and will most likely find himself in the AHL next season. He is a low-offence player who is not likely to put up many points at any level.
While he was drafted from the Saskatoon Blades, he was traded to the Red Deer Rebels mid-way through the 2015 season. He played in the Memorial Cup this spring on the host team. Because the Blades were such a bad team the two seasons Nogier was there, his plus/minus reflected that, but once he moved to the Rebels it improved showing once again that plus/minus is a team stat and not a an individual stat.
