Well folks. This is it. After tonight, the Winnipeg Jets will have no more home games this season. Safe to say not many in Jetsland are sad about the end of this season, but thankfully at least we have the future. Even Blake Wheeler in an interview today said that "Hockey News picked us to win it all in 2020. I don’t know if I’ll still be here then.We do have a bright future". It's hard to tell if this is a sign of distrusting management or something different, but even the players can see that tomorrow is going to be much better than today.
Tonight however, is a different breed. The Minnesota Wild are playing to clinch a playoff spot in the Wild Wide Open Western Conference and the Jets are in the position to either further their progress, or play spoiler to it all. Regardless of tonight's outcome, by the end of the week, this season will end and we have to wait until the 30th until the Draft Lottery to find our place in the draft.
You can catch tonight's game on Sportsnet at 7PM.
