Season Series Stalemate Stopper – Jets v Predators

If you couldn't tell by the title, your Winnipeg Jets close out their season series against division rival Nashville Predators tonight. The series is also tied. After Sunday's snoozefest covered by yours truly, the Jets try to reinvigorate the line-up by calling up 2012 3rd Round Draft Selection Scott Kosmachuk from the struggling Moose. If he plays, it will be the 22 year old's NHL debut.

The Predators come into tonight's game running on a 12 game point streak (8-0-4), which happens to be a franchise record. Filip Forsberg can be thanked for the streak putting up 21 points in the last 14 games. (Imagine if Washington never traded him…)

You can catch the game tonight at 7 PM on TSN 3, or Fox Sports Nashville.

Lineups:

The Predators:

Calle Jarnkrok – Ryan Johansen – James Neal

Filip Forsberg – Mike Ribero – Craig Smith

Miikka Salomaki – Mike Fisher – Viktor Arvidsson

Colin Wilson – Colton Sissons – Austin Watson

Roman Josi – Shea Weber

Anthony Bitetto – Ryan Ellis

Mattias Ekholm – Peter Granberg

The Jets:

Drew Stafford – Mark Scheifele – Blake Wheeler

Alex Burmistrov – Matthieu Perreault – Marko Dano

Chris Thorburn – Adam Lowry – Scott Kosmachuk

Matt Halischuk – Andrew Copp – J.C. Lipon

Toby Enstrom – Dustin Byfuglien

Jacob Trouba – Tyler Myers

Ben Chiarot – Paul Postma

Prediction:

Predators Win 3-1. Forsberg (3) Scheifele off of Wheeler (1)
