The Winnipeg Jets are coming off a days rest, and hope to have all guns blazing when they take on theNashville Predators this evening. Well, some of the guns anyway. Bryan Little is shutdown, while Nikolaj Ehlers is working thru his eye injury with the doctors. Mark Stuart is still on the mend and on long term IR. Joel Armia has a few bumps and bruises to deal with. With the open roster spots comes opportunity, as JC Lipon and Josh Morrissey are making believers out of fans and Jets management. Scott Kosmachuk’s opportunity is next. The Jets are coming off a 2-1 loss against the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday night. Tonight’s opponents, the Nashville Predators, are coming off a 5-2 win against the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday night and sit in the first wild card spot with 78 points. During the last meeting between these teams, there was some bad blood brewing. With this Jets’ lineup, there literally could be blood. On the ice, that is.
