If you watched the game the other night versus the Florida Panthers, what did you notice about the Winnipeg Jets? The chances to score, along with the puck possession was vastly improved. The Lowry, Armia and Dano line was great both defensively and offensively, and when Dano has a few more games under his belt, that line is going to be superb. Burmistrov is showing signs of positive improvement in his game, and is gelling with Perreault. Ehlers was his quick self and is gaining confidence as his first NHL campaign winds down to the final quarter. Postma and Chariot looked good together. Copp grabbed the monkey off his back and threw it into the crowd. Coach Maurice has stated that we may get to see a few line mixups and a few call ups…Moose players crossing the hallway to the Jets locker room, and playing a game or two. Who would you like to see from the Moose don a Jets jersey? Now, the Winnipeg Jets need to build on the positives as they take on the New York Islanders, who you may recall, have been in their own mired state up until John Taveres was drafted, then the youth movement took off and they haven’t looked back.
