Today at noon, (or 1:00 in my time zone), the Winnipeg Jets take on the Buffalo Sabres for the second time this year. All signs point to Buffalo tonight as Winnipeg hasn’t had a three game winning streak this season. However that doesn’t mean much as both teams are equally abysmal and facing playoff elimination in the coming days. That doesn’t mean there’s no excitement however, as some of the best Jets games “haven’t mattered”…
Last Time:
In the last match between these two teams, Sam Reinhart scored his first career hat trick and the Jets lost 4-2 in Evander Kane's emotional return home to Winnipeg. The tables have turned however as this game marks the first time Drew Stafford returns to Buffalo since being traded. Tyler Myers was ruled out for the season and won't be able to play against his former team.
