The Jets were looking to suck the air out of the Calgary Saddledome on Wednesday night by defeating the Calagary Flames. Instead, they added fuel to the fire as Calgary downed the Jets 4-1. Coach PoMo was not a happy camper after the game, citing a “few miscalculations on the ice as the reasons for the defensive breakdowns” (also known as bonehead plays). Well, onwards and upwards as they say in Jets land, as the team returned to Winnipeg and started preparing for the Return of the the Ladd…Andrew Ladd that is, as the Winnipeg Jets welcome the Chicago Blackhawks for a Friday night engagement. The Hawks have not been playing good hockey as of late, as they’ve dropped the past 3 games in losses to Dallas, L.A. and Philly. Coach Q has shaken up the lines to try and spur some offense from his squad. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it, Jets faithful?
