Jets @ Canucks - Part One: The First Game

New, comments

Jets have a rare two game series in one city.

Tonight the Jets have their first of two games before the Christmas break. Both of which, in Vancouver, against the Canucks. Something you see in the minor leagues and something I would like to see more often. Nobody cares about that though, NIKOLAJ EHLERS ENDED HIS SLUMP.

But anyways... These two games, tonight and Thursday are the last before the Christmas break. After five days off, the Jets close out 2016 with three more games against Chicago, Columbus and the New York Islanders.

The Jets have won back to back games six times this year, but have yet to win a third in a row. Is this the night that streak ends?

Vancouver Canucks:

Daniel Sedin - Henrik Sedin - Jannik Hansen

Loui Eriksson - Brandon Sutter - Markus Granlund

Sven Baertschi - Bo Horvat - Alexandre Burrows

Jack Skille - Michael Chaput - Jayson Megna

Ben Hutton - Chris Tanev

Luca Sbisa - Troy Stecher

Nikita Tryamkin - Alex Biega

Ryan Miller

Jacob Markstrom

Winnipeg Jets:

Nikolaj Ehlers - Mark Scheifele - Patrik Laine

Mathieu Perreault - Bryan Little - Blake Wheeler

Marko Dano - Adam Lowry - Drew Stafford

Brandon Tanev - Andrew Copp - Chris Thorburn

Josh Morrissey - Dustin Byfuglien

Tobias Enstrom - Jacob Trouba

Ben Chiarot - Paul Postma

Connor Hellebuyck

Michael Hutchinson

Where to Watch:

9:00 PM on TSN3 and to listen, TSN 1290

Who Do We Hate?:

Troy Stecher because he should be a Jet. The Jets Rookie Camp invitee was courted by Winnipeg but chose Vancouver. He’s from British Columbia though so I know why, I just have sour grapes.

Jets Win in 4-2

Goals by: Nikolaj Ehlers (2), Jacob Trouba, and Bryan Little

Canucks goals by: Bo Horvat and Loui Eriksson
