Top-line reunited and it feels so good.

The Winnipeg Jets plan on giving fans a treat, reuniting last season's top-line of Nikolaj Ehlers, Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler for tonight's match against the Ottawa Senators.

It's Winnipeg's final home game of the preseason, so the presence of multiple big guns comes as no surprise. In addition to E-S-W (is there a proper nickname for the trio yet?), Mathieu Perreault, Tobias Enstrom and Dustin Byfuglien all find themselves in the lineup.

Tonight's second line might be tomorrow's third, as Perreault plays pivot to Kyle Connor and Drew Stafford. Speaking of Connor, the 19-year-old has impressed this preseason, arguably more so than 2016 second overall selection Patrik Laine. Another solid effort tonight could very well cement the Michigan native's place on opening night. (It's also worth mentioning that a Connor-Perreault-Stafford trio can go hand-in-hand with the Laine-Little-Armia line fans have seen this preseason. Food for thought.)

After speculation during the day, Logan Stanley won't be making his preseason debut tonight. Czuczman, Kichton and Strait continue their auditions in his stead. In net, Michael Hutchinson is expected to get all game to make his NHL case.

It's not exactly an NHL roster on Ottawa's side. When your second line features Chris Kelly, Chris Neil and Chris Ryan Dzingel, it might be a long night. Then again, Winnipeg didn't exactly ice its best lineup last night, and that turned out surprisingly well.

For prospects of note, keep an eye on Thomas Chabot. The 2015 first round selection plays a quietly superb two-way game, and admittedly made quite the impression with yours truly during last year's World Junior Championship. With all due respect for Maxime Lajoie, Chabot may be Ottawa's crown jewel so far as defensive prospects go.
