Winnipeg Jets Training Camp Report - The Final Roster

It's been a challenging few weeks, but the real test has yet to come, that being the 2016- '17 NHL regular season.

Over the last few weeks, the fans of the Winnipeg Jets have been clamoring for news and updates surrounding the club as it enters the final few days of training camp and culminating into a winning roster entering the 2016-'17 NHL season.  High hopes and expectations abound, as rookies Kyle Connor and Patrik Laine look to gel with the veterans in Blake Wheeler, Bryan Little and Dustin Byfuglien as they enter the upcoming campaign for Lord Stanley's Cup.  Lots have changed since training camp began (See my previous reports from Sept 26thSept 28th,  and Oct 4th) and now the team can settle down and focus on the task at hand. With that said, the news is sparse as the team looks to narrow it's focus and it's numbers.  Here's a compilation of media updates, giving you the information as it came out of camp and the final two exhibition games, leading up to today's final roster announcement.

The Winnipeg Jets players have the day off, but the team's coaches and management are meeting to make the tough decisions and determine the team's roster moving forward to Tuesday's roster deadline.

Monday, Oct 10th:

Tuesday, Oct.11:

The Winnipeg Jets have cancelled their on ice practice today, and their final roster needs to be in to the NHL by 4pm CST.
