The "best prospect pool in the NHL" has looked horrible in two mid-September games. Welp, there goes the 2019 Stanley Cup. While it is true that the kids have been terrible, it is a little early to panic. There are really only three or four kids in this tournament that are vying for Winnipeg Jets roster spots this year.

Players to Watch
General Manager Kevin Cheveldayoff has done some talking of late. He has said things. These things hint at who is really in the mix for a roster spot this year.
To nobody's surprise, it sounds like Andrew Copp is batting for the 4th line centre position. Joel Armia (not participating in this tournament), Nikolaj Ehlers and Nic Petan have also been mentioned for top-nine roles. The number of roster spots is limited, so these players might be going head-to-head for NHL ice time. Will one stand out over the others?
