Anaheim Ducks

Anaheim acquired the 41st overall pick in 2015 from New Jersey, along with New Jersey’s option of the 2016 third-round acquired from Florida or the 2016 third-round acquired from Minnesota via Florida. They acquired winger Carl Hagelin and 59th and 179th overall picks in 2015 from the Rangers. They acquired goaltender Anton Khudobin from Carolina. They placed defenceman Mark Fistric on waivers for the purposes of buying him out. They bought out Fistric’s contract. They acquired defenceman Kevin Bieksa from Vancouver.

Arizona Coyotes

Arizona acquired defencemen Nicklas Grossmann and Chris Pronger from Philadelphia. They acquired the 76th and 83rd oveall picks in 2015 from Calgary.

Boston Bruins

Boston acquired a 2016 fifth-round pick from Minnesota. They acquired winger Zac Rinaldo from Philadelphia.

Buffalo Sabres

Buffalo placed centre Cody Hodgson on unconditional waivers for the purposes of buying out his contract.

Calgary Flames

Calgary acquired the 60th overall pick in 2015 from Arizona.

Carolina Hurricanes

Carolina acquired defenceman James Wisniewski from Anaheim. They acquired goaltender Eddie Lack from Vancouver. They signed winger Andrej Nestrasil to a two-year contract extension.

Chicago Blackhawks

Chicago acquired winger Ryan Haggerty from the Rangers. They signed defenceman David Rundblad to a two-year contract extension.

Colorado Avalanche

Colorado acquired the 39th overall pick in 2015, as well as the 2016 second-round and 2017 sixth-round pick originally held by Colorado, from San Jose.

Columbus Blue Jackets

Columbus made no moves this week. Forward Ryan Craig, who spent last season in the Blue Jackets season, spending most of the season in the minors, signed a two-year contract with AHL Lake Erie.

Dallas Stars

Dallas acquired goaltender Antti Niemi from San Jose. They signed Niemi to a three-year contract extension.

Detroit Red Wings

Detroit made no moves this week.

Edmonton Oilers

Edmonton acquired winger Brad Ross and the 107th overall pick in 2015 from Toronto. They acquired defenceman Eric Gryba from Ottawa. They acquired goaltender Cam Talbot from the Rangers.

Florida Panthers

Florida acquired a 2016 fifth-round pick from the Islanders.

Los Angeles Kings

Los Angeles acquired the 99th overall pick in 2015 from Philadelphia. They placed centre Mike Richards on waivers for the purposes of buying him out. They terminated Richards’ contract, citing material breach of contract.

Minnesota Wild

Minnesota signed goaltender Devan Dubnyk to a six-year contract extension worth $26M. They acquired the 135th overall pick in 2015 from Boston.

Montreal Canadiens

Montreal placed winger Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau on waivers for the purposes of buying him out. They bought out Parenteau's contract.

Nashville Predators

Nashville bought out winger Rich Clune. They placed winger Viktor Stalberg on unconditional waivers for purposes of buying him out. They signed winger Austin Watson to a two-year two-way contract extension.

New Jersey Devils

New Jersey acquired winger Kyle Palmieri from Anaheim. They acquired the 42nd overall pick in 2015 from Ottawa, along with the Devils’ option of either the 109th overall pick in 2015 or the Sens’ third-round pick in 2016.

New York Islanders

The Islanders made no moves this week.

New York Rangers

The Rangers acquired winger Emerson Etem and the 41st overall pick in 2015 from Anaheim. They acquired goaltender Antti Raanta from Chicago. They acquired the 57th, 79th, and 184th overall picks in 2015 from Edmonton. They acquired the 62nd and 113th overall picks in 2015 from Washington.

Ottawa Senators

Ottawa acquired the 107th overall pick and centre Travis Ewanyk from Edmonton. They acquired the 36th overall pick in 2015 from New Jersey. They signed defenceman Chris Wideman to a one-year two-way contract extension.

Philadelphia Flyers

Philadelphia acquired centre Sam Gagner and a conditional 2016 or 2017 draft pick from Arizona. They acquired the 104th overall pick in 2015 and 2016 sixth-rounder from Los Angeles. They acquired a 2017 third-round pick from Boston. They signed centre Chris VandeVelde to a two-year contract extension.

Pittsburgh Penguins

Pittsburgh signed defenceman Ian Cole to a three-year contract extension.

San Jose Sharks

San Jose acquired the 193rd overall pick in 2015 from Dallas. They signed centre Melker Karlsson to a two-year contract extension worth $3.25M. They acquired the 31st overall pick from Colorado. They signed winger Petter Emanuelsson to a one-year contract extension worth $575K. They signed defenceman Karl Stollery to a one-year contract extension worth $575K. They signed defenceman Jeremy Langlois to a one-year contract worth $610K. San Jose received the 86th overall pick in 2015 from Edmonton for the hiring of head coach Todd McLellan. They acquired a conditional seventh-round pick in 2016 from St. Louis. They signed defenceman Brenden Dillonn to a five-year contract extension.

St. Louis Blues

St. Louis acquired defenceman Konrad Abeltshauser from San Jose. They signed centre Jeremy Welsh to a contract extension.

Tampa Bay Lightning

Tampa Bay acquired a seventh-round pick in 2016 from Edmonton. They signed winger Jonathan Marchessault to a one-year two-way contract extension and winger Brian Hart to a three-year entry-level contract. They signed winger Mike Blunden to a one-year two-way contract extension.

Toronto Maple Leafs

Toronto acquired defenceman Martin Marincin from Edmonton.

Vancouver Canucks

Vancouver acquired the 66th overall pick in 2015 and a 2016 seventh-round pick from Carolina. They signed forward Linden Vey to a one-year contract extension. They signed goaltender Jacob Markstrom to a two-year contract extension. They acquired a second-round pick in 2015 from Anaheim.

Washington Capitals

Washington acquired the 57th overall pick in 2015 from the Rangers. They signed forward Jay Beagle to a three-year contract extension.

Winnipeg Jets

Winnipeg made no moves this week.

The Hockey Hall of Fame announced its 2015 inductees on Monday. In addition to former Red Wings defenceman Nicklas Lidstrom, technically Arizona Coyotes defenceman Chris Pronger, former Red Wings centre Sergei Fedorov, and former Sabres and Jets 1.0 defenceman Phil Housley, the inductees include legendary American defencewoman Angela Ruggiero, as well as former Flames President and HHOF Chairman (and 1961 Blackhawks Cup champion and NCAA alum) Bill Hay and Peter Karmanos, Jr.,who relocated the Whalers to Carolina, in the builders category.
