Holy crap! It too Winnipeg Jets General Manager Kevin Cheveldayoff three years to make a player for player trade and when he popped the top, the bottle exploded. TSN's big guns have been reporting all morning that the Winnipeg Jets and Buffalo Sabres were close to consummating a trade for Evander Kane.
Surprise! Zach Bogosian could be on the move too!
Huge deal. Hearing Myers Stafford Armia and Lemieux plus a first for Kane and Bogosian as principles of deal getting close btwn Buf + Wpg.

Again principles of Jets-Sabres deal: Myers Stafford Armia and Lemieux plus a first for Kane and Bogosian. Could be other elements.

Holy crap! For real. Literally, I just crapped my pants. Did you see that coming? I know I didn't.
Returning to Winnipeg would be a number of players. Tyler Myers, Drew Stafford, Joel Armia, Brendan Lemieux and a first round draft pick. That is a load of futures for a Jets team that is already quite young.
We will have more on the story as it develops - assuming I don't die.
**UPDATE**
More from Dreger
1st round pick Jets acquire will be lowest of 3 of the Sabres picks. Very complicated trade. Sounds like an unsigned player from Peg as well

**UPDATE 2**
The trade is done!
