Thud! That is the noise of the Toronto’s Maple Leaf’s Garrett Sparks coming back down to earth after the 6-1 drubbing at the hands of the Winnipeg Jets, who were more than happy to spoil the party as they opened the offensive flood gates and gained back some much needed confidence. After a few practice days and a talent showcase evening, the Jets are ready to face off against the Washington Capitals, who are cruising with their own hot goaltender in Braden Holtby. The Caps have won 6 straight and most recently beat the Montreal Canadiens. It’s going to be a tough test for the Jets.
