GDT: Winnipeg Jets vs Calgary Flames

The second of a back to back in Western Canada!

Cam Talbot's new name is "Grinch", as he wasn't giving up any goals last night.  90+ shot attempts on net, with 45 actually hitting the Edmonton Oilers' goaltender, with one batted in by Bryan Little.  Stingy guy!  For the Oilers, Teddy Purcell, Taylor Hall and Leon Draisaitl were the offensive line of the night.  Tonight, the Jets take the Calgary Flames, who lost on the road to the Detroit Red Wings Sunday night.  Both teams have identical records (15- 16-2), and will be the last game for the Jets before the Xmas break.

Players to cheer for:

The Jets 4th line of Halischuk, Copp, and Armia has been playing very well, and getting some good chances during their limited time on the ice.

Prediction:

Santa comes calling and the Jets fly home with a 4-3 victory.

On that note, this will be my last article until the 27th, so I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a warm and merry Christmas.  Cheers!
