The Winnipeg Jets' hex against the Washington Capitals continued tonight as the Capitals came out and won 5-3.The Jets continue their season on in Minnesota on Black Friday.

Some Thoughts:

  • Per @SNStats on Twitter: "#NHLJets have an NHL worst .877 save % since November 10." That's bad. Really bad. In my opinion it's time for Connor Hellebuyck to get a turn. Even if it's just to change things up.
  • The Jets are also 3-7-1 in the month of November.
  • The power play. Fix it please.
  • Why is Thorburn on the third line? Instead of Petan or now, Armia? Both would benefit from playing with Ehlers.
  • The Scheifele line looked rough tonight. Stafford was the weakest link going by Corsi and Fenwick. None were fancystat darlings however.
  • In this Central Division would it make more sense to start looking at trading the UFAs for futures?

For The Next Game:

  • Start Hellebuyck.
  • Put the bottom six in the blender again. Sit Peluso and start Armia.
  • Swap Ehlers and Stafford. I enjoyed watching Ehlers with Perreault and Scheifele.

Are these situations too reactionary or just what the team needs? Maybe you have a different solution. Let us know your thoughts down in the comments!
