Today, the Winnipeg Jets open their regular season of NHL hockey with a road game versus the Boston Bruins. Today’s game will be the first NHL action for a pair of young Nic (Nik)s and just the second game for another young forward in Andrew Copp.

Players to Watch:
All eyes will be on Nic Petan and Nik Ehlers. The Winnipeg Jets’ two young rookies have made the team, but they haven’t solidified a long term stay as of yet. Nic Ehlers has to prove he belongs in the NHL over the next nine games and Nic Petan has to prove that staying up with team big club is better for his development than a tour with the Manitoba Moose.
