Watch Mark Scheifele’s thirteenth goal of the year as it’s a thing of beauty

I imagine that the day my eyes grace the glory that is Notre Dame Stadium, it will be the most majestic and beautiful sight I've ever seen. So it will kind of be reminiscent of the dad in Rudy in his first visit to the hallowed field. Rudy, by the way, is the greatest sports movie of all time.

Until the day I make it to South Bend, this goal from Mark Scheifele takes the cake when talking about majestic beauty.

Trailing 2-1 in the second period, Scheifele received a fantastic pass from line-mate Blake Wheeler before coming in alone on goaltender Brian Elliot and displaying some magical skills for his second goal of the night.

My heavens, was that glorious! Scheifele now has thirteen tallies on the campaign and is slowly creeping up on Calder Trophy frontrunner Nathan MacKinnon in the goal category.

For further analysis, we turn to Dirk Nowitzki. Take it away, Dirk!
