Blake Wheeler once attended the Miflord Academy. I know this because he has not been seen nor heard in these Olympic Games.
Forwards the likes of Phil Kessel, James van Riemsdyk, Joe Pavelski and T.J. Oshie have created their legend in Sochi this February. Blake Wheeler has not. And because of this, he is super, super sad.
Luckily, CBC was able to capture the sadness of Blake Wheeler and sent it to us to share with the rest of the world.

Sure, there are skeptics out there who claim Wheeler was disheartened after a 1-0 loss to Canada in the men's hockey Semifinals. The naysayers believe Wheeler is looking longingly at the mob of red in the Canadian crease, wishfully hoping he was feeling the same joy with his American comrades.
What this image doesn't capture is the continued head turn of Wheeler where his sad eyes meet those of head coach Dan Bylsma as if to say "why coach, why?".
But being a Milford Man means not being seen nor heard. Blake Wheeler continues to learn this the hard way.
