Jekyll & Hyde’s Freehouse Contest: Vladimir Tarasenko, Please Don’t Dangle the Winnipeg Jets Edition

Welcome back to this week’s edtion of the Arcitc Ice Hockey Jekyll and Hyde’s Freehouse contest. We’ve missed you and hopefully you guys missed us. The winner of our last contest was AIH user rhaath. He correctly guessed that nobody would score for the Winnipeg Jets. But he didn’t have to be the winner! Any one of you could have won is you respected the Toby!!

Tobias Enstrom scored the opening goal for the Winnipeg Jets versus the Ottawa Senators. Nobody picked him. The guesses slid and rhaath’s shutout won out. Yous guys are a bunch of silly geese. Respect the Toby!

This week’s contest will centre around the Winnipeg Jets Sunday matchup versus the St. Louis Blues. The Winnipeg Jets’ divisional foe is riding high and being carried by a duo of emerging 22 year old superstars in Jaden Schwartz and human highlight reel Vladimir Tarasenko.

How to win (I believe in you):

Create an account, go to the comment section below and tell us who will open scoring for the Winnipeg Jets. Obviously, there may be some duplicate answers so we will once again be using tie breakers:

1) Who will score

2) Who will net the primary assist (unassisted is an option)

3) Period of play

If there is repetition beyond that, we will default to the first person with said answer. It is also important to note that number 2 and 3 are just tie breakers. If nobody gets all three correct, the first person to guess numbers 1 and 2 wins. If nobody guesses number 2 or 3 correctly, the first person to guess number 1 is the winner.

Once again, a calling a shutout is allowed. I would hate to see it happen, but it is allowed.

If you submit your guess and realize it is a duplicate, you are allowed to submit another guess. That is the only scenario in which you are allowed to submit a second guess.

Sounds pretty simple, right? Well, it is!

Regardless of what happens and who wins this contest… Please, Valdimir Tarasenko. Please don't dangle the Jets. Your team is good. You are good. Please don't rub it in. I know it was the Atlanta franchise that made you the second Russian called on draft day, but we are still dealing with that pain. Please play nice. Please don't dangle.

Thanks again to the Jekyll and Hyde's Freehouse for making these contests possible. They are great to us.

Go Jets Go!
