Cole's Notes From Around the League: 10/25/14-10/31/14

New, comments

It's time for another week of Cole's Notes. Last week it was brought to my attention that I've been missing some news. I haven't been missing news, so much as omitting stuff I decide really isn't news-worthy. In the spirit of completeness, I'm going to be less picky. All salary information from capgeek.com.

And now for something completely different. I'm a huge fan of offence. I imagine a game where the goal-scoring rates are as high as they got in the 1980s or 1992/93 would be more fun to watch, and more fun to track outside of games, in fantasy leagues and such. So a little idea popped into my head: at the end of every month, I'll track the average goals per game across the league, and post it at the end of my Cole's Notes at the end of every month, to see how close scoring is to 1992/93.
