The Ducks assigned goaltender John GIbson to AHL Norfolk, calling up veteran backup Jason LaBarbera in his place.

Arizona

The Coyotes made no major moves this week.

Boston

The Bruins signed veteran winger Simon Gagne to a one-year contract worth $600K and assigned wingers Jordan Caron and Bobby Robins to AHL Providence. Milan Lucic was fined $5K for an obscene gesture made during a game against Montreal. Winger Ville Leino, whose last NHL action came on a training camp in Boston, signed with the KHL's Medvescak Zagreb.

Buffalo

The Sabres have assigned defencemen Mark Pysyk and Jake McCabe to AHL Rochester. Buffalo will be hosting the 2016 NHL Draft.

Calgary

The Flames made no major moves this week.

Carolina

The Hurricanes recalled forward Zach Boychuk from AHL Charlotte, and sent down, then called up winger Patrick Brown.

Chicago

The Blackhawks assigned winger Brandon Mashinter to AHL Rockford, doing the same a few days later with defenceman Kyle Cumiskey.

Colorado

The Avalanche made no major moves this week.

Columbus

The Blue Jackets assigned winger Brian Gibbons to AHL Springfield. Winger Simon Hjalmarsson was suspended after being demoted and returning to Europe.

Dallas

The Stars made no major moves this week.

Detroit

The Red Wings called up goaltender Petr Mrazek from AHL Grand Rapids.

Edmonton

The Oilers assigned defenceman Oscar Klefbom to AHL Oklahoma City. They recalled forward Steve Pinizzotto and goaltender Richard Bachman. Pinizzotto was re-assigned and defenceman Darnell Nurse returned to juniors while defenceman Martin Marincin was recalled.

Florida

The Panthers made no major moves this week.

Los Angeles

The Kings signed defenceman Jake Muzzin to a five-year extension worth $20M.

Minnesota

The Wild assigned defenceman Stu Bickel to AHL Iowa.

Montreal

The Canadiens assigned forward Michael Bournival to AHL Hamilton. Defenceman Francis Bouillon, who attended training camp with Montreal following the expiration of a two-year contract with them, signed in Switzerland with HC Ambri-Piotta.

Nashville

The Predators made no major moves this week. Nashville will be hosting the 2016 NHL All-Star Game.

New Jersey

The Devils made no major moves this week.

NY Islanders

The Islanders assigned defenceman Griffin Reinhart to AHL Bridgeport.

NY Rangers

The Rangers assigned wingers JT Miller and Jesper Fast to AHL Hartford. Centre Matthew Lombardi was released and signed in Switzerland with HC Geneve-Servette.

Ottawa

The Senators made no major moves this week.

Philadelphia

The Flyers recalled centre Chris VandeVelde from AHL Lehigh Valley.

Pittsburgh

The Penguins made no major moves this week.

San Jose

The Sharks assigned forward James Sheppard to AHL Worcester for conditioning.

St. Louis

The Blues made mo major moves this week.

Tampa Bay

The Lightning assigned winger Jonathan Drouin to AHL Syracuse for conditioning on Thursday. They called him up on Sunday.

Toronto

The Maple Leafs made no major moves this week.

Vancouver

The Canucks assigned centre Bo Horvat to AHL Utica for conditioning.

Washington

The Capitals made no major moves this week.

Winnipeg

The Jets assigned centre Patrice Cormier to AHL St. John's.
