What to Watch for:
Pavelec's positioning and tracking of the puck. He looked decent in the game against the Arizona Coyotes, but he was still off of his angles a bit. It will also be interesting to see how the team deals with the loss of Evander Kane. He is out for at least two weeks, meaning he is eligible for injured reserve (IR), which frees up a roster spot. A player can be called up so that in an emergency, the Jets don't have to dress Thorburn and Anthony Peluso on their fourth line.
