Orignal fears seem to have been confirmed as Clitsome was struck by the stick of Alexander Burmistrov around the eye area. Had his injury been something as simple as stitching a wound, there would be no doubt of Clitsome's return.
We will continue to update Clitsome's status heading into tomorrow's game against the New York Islanders.
