After Tuesday night, it seemed as though finally, things were turning up Zach Bogosian. The American-born defenceman scored his first goal of the season as the Winnipeg Jets went on to defeat the Detroit Red Wings 3-2 in a shootout.
It was hoped that he would be able to continue to build upon that performance tonight as the Jets hosted the Philadelphia Flyers at the MTS Centre.
That, unfortunately, was not the case. Bogosian was diagnosed with a lower-body injury and, according to the Winnipeg Jets' official Twitter feed, will not return:
