Wednesday Morning Altitude Check: TNSE won’t charge ticket printing fees upon switching to new card format

Hey all! Here is our feature running Monday through Friday that will bring you up to date on what’s going on in the media pertaining to the Winnipeg Jets and elsewhere in the NHL.

Here is what's in the news for Wednesday, January 16, 2013:

Jim Ludlow of TNSE has stated that the team will waive all $2.50 print fees associated with the printing of individual season tickets: "We wanted to be clear that we’re waiving fees. We apologize if there’s been any confusion on that, but absolutely there will be no fees on transferring and or reprinting tickets or the like." Good show! [Metro Winnipeg]

A day after Nik Antropov’s upper-body injury was disclosed, Claude Noel announced that Antti Miettinen will be out of the line-up with a UBI of his own: “He’s going to be out indefinitely. We’re doing some further testing on some things on him to assess the situation. It’s not day to day. He won’t be a player for Saturday.” [WFP]

More from Noel as he doesn’t plan on overworking Ondrej Pavelec this year: “I wouldn’t put a number on it because it’s going to be based on performance. We’re going to have to really monitor the energy level, fatigue and you’re really going to have to be in touch with your goaltending guy (Wade Flaherty) and your medical guys, in regards to the goaltender and how he’s feeling. You’re going to have to be plugged in.” [Winnipeg Sun]

Gary Lawless and I are on the same page here, the smart move is to return Mark Scheifele to Barrie of the OHL. [WFP]
