Happy Team Canada Selection Camp Roster Announcement Day, everyone!

Today marks the beginning of a two month journey that Hockey Canada hopes will end in Canadian gold for the first time since their five year run at the tournament was snapped in 2010. The past three years have each ended in bitter disappointment, as Canada fell twice in the Championship Game and last year sputtered their way to a Bronze medal finish.

Returning to this year's selection camp are a number of notable players who carved their niche with Hockey Canada at last year's tournament held by the Albertan cities of Calgary and Edmonton. The 37-man selection camp roster was announced this morning on TSN at 11:30AM CST. In terms of representation from the Winnipeg Jets', Mark Scheifele will be the lone Jets' draft pick in attendance and should be a shoo in to again suit up for his country, barring any unforseen injury that would hold him out.
