David Kolomatis – 6GP, 3G, 3A, 6PTS
Andrei Loktionov – 7GP, 3G, 3A, 6PTS
Despite having played three games less than the St. John’s IceCaps, the Manchester Morarchs remain one game ahead of their divisional opponents before the puck is dropped later tonight.
Fueled by former Calgary Hitman and Team Canada World Junior Brandon Kozun, the Monarchs have hit the ground running early into this 2011-12 season. They have recently acquired the services of last year’s Conn Smythe winner Jonathan Quick, though he will not officially suit up for the team, but rather work extensively to rehab a back ailment he had surgically repaired.
The IceCaps major woe has been a lack of goal scoring; the team is currently mired in a drougt, scoring only three times in their past four games. In three of those contests, the ‘Caps have been shutout altogether.
Join us for tonight’s game starting at 6:00PM CST.
