Coming off a brutal loss to the Ottawa Senators, the Jets face our first division "rival," the Carolina Hurricanes. The 'Canes have played strong hockey the last 4 games, though in general they don't pose a particularly scary lineup offensively or defensively. Their crown jewels, Jeff Skinner, Eric Staal, and Cam Ward are playing fine, but everything else is pretty meh.
Speaking of meh, it's such a confusing question whether the Jets that care or the Jets that share (the puck) will show up. There's a visible difference between the team we saw in the 3rd and 4th game of the season and the one we saw in the 1st, 2nd, and 5th, and I'm sure Claude Noel is just as confused and frustrated by it as the rest of us. It's hard to tell, though, since he looks like the last time he cracked a smile he was eating Play-Doh.
