Winnipeg Is Back (DJ Steve Porter)

I just stumbled across this video of the NHL Entry Draft Party at the MTS Centre yesterday, and it was awesome to watch again. I was in the building that night, but when Chipman called our team the Winnipeg Jets everything afterwards was a blur! It was amazing how loud the building was considering we figured there were roughly 4 or 5 thousand people in there. Just wait until the building full of 15,000 people this winter when the Winnipeg Jets take the ice. I get goosebumps just thinking about it!

While the slideshow of this video may not be of the highest quality, there is no denying how awesome this Winnipeg Jets video is solely because of the song. Using "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC as the base and dubbing over it with clips of Jets commentary from Hockey Night in Canada is just awesome. I still get goosebumps listening to the Winnipeg Arena crowd erupt when Eddie Olzyck scores. But the best part may be the waiting for the final horn to go - you can barely hear it over the crowd noise! Get ready MTS Centre, because this is what you have to look forward to this winter. Go Jets Go!
