I like a Bourger King. We call it............Bourger King.
A lot of dedicated, admirable people gave their time for recording scoring chances over the last few years, so it's tough for me to see these results on one hand. On the other, it reiterates previous studies that have suggested that the "shot quality" argument has no legs. Great work from Eric T., and more importantly great work from all those scoring chance counters. We couldn't have done this without you.

I hope Dan is near a toilet, because he may literally **** when he reads this. Apparently Ondrej Pavelec is seeking a four-year deal worth about $17 million. According to both Gary Lawless and NBC sports, the Jets have countered with a three-year, $12 million contract. Pav and Walsh are holding stead. This seems to be getting a little out of hand.
The Jets full 2012-13 schedule has been released. Of course now we have to hope they actually play all of these games. A few tid bits: Five of the first seven games are home games. The Nucks and Flames will debut in the MTS centre. The Jets longest road trip will be six games. The Jets have 10 sets of back to games. Eight of the B2B games are on the road. Two of the B2B games are road then away. What dates stand out to you?
Pavelec is pending RFA with a big $ offer from KHL. It will take $4mil\multi years to keep him in NHL. Pay or trade him...Jets only options.

As reported by Darren Dreger. Ladies and gentlemen, you can thank your Winnipeg media for these absurd negotiations. Now let's start talking alternatives.
What's going on with the Jets ? I hear from a player on Winnipeg that Kane doesn't want to negotiate a new deal ?

I hear from a player on Winnipeg that Kane doesn't want to negotiate a new deal ?— Renaud P Lavoie (@RenLavoieRDS) June 16, 2012 Kane has no arbitration rights, he'll get a QO from the Jets, scored 30 goals...can he be traded ?— Renaud P Lavoie (@RenLavoieRDS) June 16, 2012 According to Renaud Lavois of RDS, an unnamed Winnipeg Jets player has allegedly suggested that Kane doesn't want to negotiate a new deal with the Jets. First the Pavelec to the KHL rumor, and now this one for Evander Kane. Both of our major RFA's 'allegedly' want out. Should we as Jets fans be worried? Or are rumors like these just all part of the fun of having our team back?
#Oilers won't trade No. 1 overall pick. Also won't decide until Thursday night, Friday morning who they'll take.— Mark Spector Sports (@SportsnetSpec) June 15, 2012 Now... Do they take a D man? Could Murray really go 1st.
Today Eddie broke down the Jets haves and needs on right side of the offence. Spoiler alert: We need help! Tait was also nice enough to throw a "what if we still had Kovi?" and an even sillier "what if we still had Hossa?" into the mix. He then goes on to list some of the top available UFAs. PA Parenteau sits tops on his list. He is one of the top FAs at the positions, but in my opinion PA is the scariest UFA on the market. Somebody will pay him 1st line money and I really don't see him as anything more than a 2nd liner. Without 1st line TOI, Tavares and prime PP time, will he put up 45 points? What do you guys think we should do on the right side?
