Preview and GDT: Winnipeg Jets vs Dallas Stars

Time: 6:00 PM CST

Channel: Sportsnet

Radio: TSN1290

The Winnipeg Jets facing the Dallas Stars in the last game before they go on their bye week. Before they fully come back, they will have the All Star Break as well which will feature Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele.

The Stars have been struggling for a while now and the recent trade for Andrew Cogliano has done nothing to help the team. In their last game, key forward Alexander Radulov was benched for talking back to head coach Jim Montgomery. This happened after star forwards Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin were called out by the CEO for their play even if the problems with Dallas go far beyond their top line.

As for the Jets, they are starting to get better goaltending which is helping them overcome their struggles up front and on defence. However, it is possible that Dustin Byfuglien will return after the bye week and Sami Niku is once again looking more comfortable since he has played a couple games.
