GDT: Winnipeg Jets vs Vegas Golden Knights

Time: 7:00 PM CST

TV: TSN 3

Radio: TSN 1290

Introduction:

The Jets will face some significant tests this week before the all star break starting with the Vegas Golden Knights tonight at the Bell MTS Centre. Any thoughts that Vegas’ surprising run to the Stanley Cup finals was a fluke based on their early season slow start has been erased lately by an 8-1-1 record in their last ten games. Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports that Laurent Brossoit will start in goal tonight facing Jets kryptonite Marc Andre Fleury. Ben Chiarot is a surprise scratch for tonight with a day-to-day lower body injury. Tyler Myers returns and Sami Niku remains in the line up. The Jets could really use a dominant win at home against a contending team before heading to Nashville.
