Winnipeg Jets recall Jack Roslovic and Michael Hutchinson

The Winnipeg Jets have recalled Jack Roslovic and Michael Hutchinson from the Manitoba Moose as the team reconvenes after their bye week. Roslovic being recalled should come as no surprise as Mark Scheifele is not due back yet and even if all the other injured players return, they still have roster space to have him with the team and even playing if they want.

Hutchinson is the more alarming name. Last we heard, Steve Mason fell ill in Chicago and was sent back to Winnipeg to be checked out by doctors. He missed the next game against the Minnesota Wild as well and then the Jets had a week off. Hopefully this recall is nothing because over a week for an illness is troublesome. If Mason is indeed still sick, it hopefully has nothing to do with the concussion that he suffered earlier this season coming back and symptoms flaring up again.

More news should be available at 11.
