Jets Make Qualifying Offers to Nine Players

The Winnipeg Jets made qualifying offers to nine of their restricted free agents today. The list includes the obvious ones, Mark Scheifele, Jacob Trouba, Joel Armia and Adam Lowry. Along with very late season signing Brandon Tanev and Manitoba Moose staples JC Lipon, Brenden Kichton, and Julian Melchiori.

The only player who wasn't given one was former 2011 fifth round pick, Austen Brassard. Brassard finished the season with the Manitoba Moose playing in 75 games and tallying fifteen goals and twenty-one assists. That placed him fourth on the team in points. It is important to note that just because Brassard was not given a qualifying offer, it doesn't mean he won't be back with the organization next year.
