Despite being on Team Tank, beating Montreal is always SUCH a good feeling. Mark Scheifele agrees, since he decided to put up 3 goals tonight for his first career hat trick. Also another reason to party, is 2013 1st Round Pick Josh Morrissey made his NHL debut notching up a point. The celebration will be quick however, because tomorrow night Adam Pardy and the Oilers are coming to town for a Sunday Night Showdown against the Jets.

- It’s a shame Scheifele decides to break out right before contract time.
- He’d look pretty good with Patrik Laine though…
- Congrats to Josh Morrissey for his first NHL game, and putting up better fancy stats than his partner, Tyler Myers.
- Also, congrats to JC Lipon for his first NHL point!
- The last two home wins for the Jets have had hat tricks scored by Jets. Nikolaj Ehlers had the last one on January 26th against Arizona.
