With turncoat Alan taking off for Toronto in a few weeks, the Superfans invaded the beautiful confines of the Fox and Fiddle (456 Main Street) and were promptly shuttled down to the basement where us bloggers would be more comfortable. They also have beer there!
The boys had to work hard to find some topics in Jetsville to talk to, what with Chevy being in the middle of his annual summer hibernation. But we managed to talk about some various Dustin Byfuglien rumours on the interwebz, how likely Mark Scheifele and Jacob Trouba are to take bridge deals out of their ELC’s, the #dudebro culture in hockey and if Nikolaj Ehlers could possibly follow Auston Matthews overseas if he doesn’t make the Jets next season.
@tbonnar gushed over the Jets prospects while @arby_18 pined for the Flyers‘ defensive prospects, @sadsackjetsfan made fun of Switzerland, @bigpapipegcity got really close to the microphone a few times and @sliiiiip got a lesson on his newest favourite team, the Maple Leafs.
