Anaheim Ducks

Anaheim signed winger Max Friberg to a two-year contract extension.

Arizona Coyotes

Arizona made no moves this week. Winger Brandon Yip, who last played in the NHL for Arizona in 2013/14, has signed a one-year contract extension in Germany with Adler Mannheim. New uniforms were unveiled, using black as a more prominent element, on the arms and being the pants colour.

Boston Bruins

Boston signed goaltender Zane MacIntyre to a two-year entry-level contract. They acquired a sixth-round pick in 2016 from Colorado. They acquired the 15th, 45th, and 52nd overall picks in 2015 from Calgary. They acquired goaltender Martin Jones, defenceman Colin Miller, and the 13th overall pick in 2015 from Los Angeles. They signed defenceman Adam McQuaid to a four-year contract extension worth %11M.

Buffalo Sabres

Buffalo acquired forwards Ryan O’Reilly and Jamie McGinn from Colorado. They acquired goaltender Robin Lehner and centre David Legwand from Ottawa.

Calgary Flames

Calgary acquired defenceman Dougie Hamilton from Boston.

Carolina Hurricanes

Carolina signed winger Chris Terry to a one-year contract worth $875K.

Chicago Blackhawks

Chicago made no moves this week.

Colorado Avalanche

Colorado acquired forward Carl Soderberg from Boston. They signed Soderberg to a five-year contract extension worth $23.75M. They acquired defenceman Nikita Zadorov, centre Mikhail Grigorenko, winger JT Compher, and the 31st overall pick in 2015 from Buffalo.

Columbus Blue Jackets

Columbus signed goaltender Curtis McElhinney to a two-year contract extension. They acquired the 29th overall pick in 2015 from Toronto. They unveiled a new secondary logo, modelled after their third-jersey crest, to be worn as a shoulder patch.

Dallas Stars

Dallas made no moves this week.

Detroit Red Wings

Detroit hired Todd Nelson as head coach of AHL Grand Rapids. They signed centre Joakim Andersson to a one-year contract extension worth $815K. Centre Cory Emmerton, who was in the NHL with Detroit from 2010/11 to 2013/14, has signed a two-year contract with Switzerland’s HC Ambri-Piotta.

Edmonton Oilers

Edmonton acquired defenceman Griffin Reinhart from the Islanders. They unveiled a new third jersey, an orange version of their primary uniforms, reminiscent of their time in the WHA, when they last wore orange jerseys.

Florida Panthers

Florida made no moves this week.

Los Angeles Kings

Los Angeles signed winger Tyler Toffoli to a two-year contract extension worth $6.5M. They acquired winger Milan Lucic from Boston.

Minnesota Wild

Minnesota made no moves this week.

Montreal Canadiens

Montreal unveiled new uniforms. They are identical to their previous ones, except for laces being added to the collar.

Nashville Predators

Nashville placed wingers Viktor Stalberg and Rich Clune on waivers. They signed centre Mike Fisher to a two-year contract extension worth $8.8M.

New Jersey Devils

New Jersey signed goaltender Scott Wedgewood to a two-year two-way contract extension worth $1.175M at the NHL level.

New York Islanders

The Islanders acquired the 16th and 33rd overall picks in the 2015 Draft from Edmonton. They acquired the 28th overall pick in 2015 from Tampa Bay.

New York Rangers

The Rangers made no moves this week. Winger Carl Klingberg signed in Russia with the KHL's Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod.

Ottawa Senators

Ottawa signed winger Mark Stone to a three-year contract extension worth $3.5M. They signed centre Mika Zibanejad to a two-year contract worth $2.625M. They acquired the 21st overall pick in 2015 from Buffalo.

Philadelphia Flyers

Philadelphia acquired the 24th overall pick in 2015 from Toronto.

Pittsburgh Penguins

Pittsburgh signed winger Tom Kuhnhackl to a one-year contract extension worth $575M.

San Jose Sharks

San Jose signed goaltender Troy Grosenick to a two-year contract extension worth $1.2M.

St. Louis Blues

St. Louis made no moves this week.

Tampa Bay Lightning

Tampa Bay acquired the 33rd and 72nd overall picks in 2015 from the Islanders.. Goaltender Allen York has signed with AHL Syracuse.

Toronto Maple Leafs

Toronto signed defencemen Petter Granberg and Tim Erixon to one-year contract extensions. They signed centre Zach Hyman to a two-year entry-level contract. Defenceman Paul Ranger, who last played in the NHL in 2013/14 for Toronto, has been released from Switzerland’s HC Geneve-Servette. They acquired the 29th overall pick in 2015 from Philadelphia. They acquired the 34th and 68th overall picks in 2015 from Columbus.

Vancouver Canucks

Vancouver signed winger Ronalds Kenins to a one-year contract extension and centre Alex Friesen to a two-year contract extension. Goaltender Joacim Eriksson signed a one-year contract in Latvia with the KHL’s Dinamo Riga.

Washington Capitals

Washington made no moves this week. Defenceman Tomas Kundratek signed a one-year contract in Latvia with the KHL's Dinamo Riga. They unveiled new third jerseys, the red version of the thirds they've used since 2011/12, originally at the 2010/11 Winter Classic.

Winnipeg Jets

Winnipeg made no moves this week. Winger Jason Jaffray, who was last under contract in the NHL with Winnipeg from 2011/12 to 2012/13, has signed in Germany with EHC Red Bull Munchen.

The NHL GMs meetings were this Tuesday, and the GMs recommended replacing the 4-on-4 overtime with 3-on-3 overtime, as well as a coach's challenge.

The NHL Board of Governors approved both 3-on-3 overtime, coach's challenge, and expanded video review, as well as the beginning of a formal expansion process.

The salary cap has been set at $71.4M and the salary floor has been set at $52.8M.
