Game 2 Thread: Winnipeg Jets at Anaheim Ducks

Channel: Sportsnet

Time: 9:30 pm CST

The Winnipeg Jets look to even up their series against the Anaheim Ducks after making the playoffs for the first time since 2009. The wheels came off for the Jets about halfway through game 1, and they proceeded to allow a few goals on crazy bounces. They’ll be looking to produce a great game for 60+ minutes tonight. Meanwhile, the Jets were missing key forward Mathieu Perreault in game 1, but while there’s still no official word on his return, he joined the team at practice Friday.

(It's the playoffs, so I'm inclined to say Perreault is in).

Anaheim Ducks

Patrick Maroon – Ryan GetzlafCorey Perry

Cam FowlerSimon Despres

Clayton Stoner – Sami Vatanen

Frederik Andersen (starting)

Who to Watch

Corey Perry, who scored 2 goals and 2 assists in game 1. Personally, I think the Ducks' top line will give the Jets fits all series, but with a full roster the Jets should be able to contain and outplay the other three.

Prediction:

Jets 4

Ducks 2
