Anaheim Ducks

Anaheim reassigned winger Chris Wagner to AHL Norfolk. They reassigned defenceman Josh Manson.

Arizona Coyotes

Arizona recalled centre Brendan Shinnimin from AHL Portland on an emergency basis. They reassigned Shinnimin following his emergency recall.

Boston Bruins

Boston signed forward Frank Vatrano to an entry-level contract. They recalled defenceman Zach Trotman from AHL Providence on an emergency basis.

Buffalo Sabres

Buffalo recalled goaltender Matt Hackett from AHL Rochester and reassigned goaltender Andrey Makarov and centre Mikhail Grigorenko.

Calgary Flames

Calgary has signed defenceman Douglas Murray to a professional try-out contract. NHL PTOs this late in the season are rare. Unlike preseason PTOs, where a player may participate in exhibition games, and AHL PTOs, where the signed player will get a maximum of 25 games, PTOs such as Murray’s are limited to practices.

Carolina Hurricanes

Carolina made no moves this week.

Chicago Blackhawks

Forward Joakim Nordstrom has been suspended two games for boarding Arizona's Oliver Ekman-Larsson.

Colorado Avalanche

Colorado recalled centre Freddie Hamilton from AHL Lake Erie.

Columbus Blue Jackets

Columbus recalled winger Rene Bourque from AHL Springfield on an emergency basis. They reassigned winger Brian Gibbons. They recalled winger Luke Adam on an emergency basis.

Dallas Stars

Dallas recalled defenceman Jamie Oleksiak from AHL Texas. They signed centre Devin Shore to a three-year entry-level contract.

Detroit Red Wings

Detroit recalled winger Teemu Pulkkinen from AHL Grand Rapids. They recalled goaltender Petr Mrazek.

Edmonton Oilers

Edmonton reassigned defenceman Jordan Oesterle to AHL Oklahoma City.

Florida Panthers

Florida made no moves this week.

Los Angeles Kings

Los Angeles made no moves this week.

Minnesota Wild

Minnesota made no moves this week.

Montreal Canadiens

Montreal recalled defenceman Greg Pateryn from AHL Hamilton.

Nashville Predators

Nashville recalled winger Viktor Stalberg from AHL Milwaukee. Goaltender Chris Mason, who last played in the NHL for Nashville in 2012/13, was released by Germany’s Augsberger Panther.

New Jersey Devils

New Jersey made no moves this week.

New York Islanders

The Islanders reassigned winger Kael Mouillierat to AHL Bridgeport. They signed defenceman Johnny Boychuk to a seven-year extension worth $42M.

New York Rangers

The Rangers signed winger Adam Tambellini to an entry-level contract. Winger Nick Palmieri, whose last NHL involvement was a stint in the Rangers organization, was released by Germany’s Schwenniger Wild Wings. Defenceman Jeff Woywitka, who last played in the NHL for the Rangers in 2011/12, was released by Germany’s Augsberger Panther.

Ottawa Senators

Ottawa made no moves this week.

Philadelphia Flyers

Philadelphia recalled defenceman Brandon Manning from AHL Lehigh Valley. They signed centre Danick Martel to a three-year entry-level contract. They signed winger Cole Bardreau to an entry-level contract.

Pittsburgh Penguins

Pittsburgh made no moves this week.

San Jose Sharks

San Jose recalled defenceman Taylor Fedun from AHL Worcester on an emergency basis.

St. Louis Blues

St. Louis signed defenceman Colten Parayko to a two-year entry-level contract and reassigned him to AHL Chicago.

Tampa Bay Lightning

Tampa Bay recalled winger Mike Angelidis from AHL Syracuse.

Toronto Maple Leafs

Toronto recalled defenceman Petter Granberg from AHL Toronto on an emergency basis. They reassigned Granberg following his emergency recall. They recalled defenceman Andrew MacWilliam on an emergency basis. They recalled defenceman TJ Brennan.

Vancouver Canucks

Vancouver reassigned goaltender Jacob Markstrom to Utica and recalled goaltender Joacim Eriksson.

Washington Capitals

Washington reassigned winger Andre Burakovsky to AHL Hershey. They recalled defenceman Nate Schmidt. They recalled defenceman Cameron Schilling. They recalled Burakovsky and reassigned Schilling.

Winnipeg Jets

Winnipeg recalled defenceman Keaton Ellerby from AHL St. John’s.

Possible Expansion News

King County Executive Dow Constantine has expressed his support for amending Seattle's MOU to get an arena built for the NHL first. This coming weeks after Seattle Mayor Ed Murray expressed similar support.

The Las Vegas season ticket drive reached 8000 pledges earlier this week.
