To Minnesota Wild fans: Save it! You're pretentious, your arena sucks, we've got beef. Let's do it.

Players to Watch

I nominate two rather cold former Sabres as players to watch, neither of whom will be a surprise to those that read the preview. The first is Minnesota forward Jason Pominville. In 13 games, he has 32 shots and 0 goals despite ample playing time and opportunity. He has been a rather consistent scorer his entire career, and while age may be impacting his effectiveness, he remains overdue.

The second is our very own Drew Stafford. While he comes into this game with 5 more goals than Pominville's 0, he's also about as hot as Steve Jobs at the box office. Which is to say, Stafford hasn't registered a single point in 7 games. The dam will burst for him eventually, and I'm hopeful that tonight's the night.
