The Austrian native seemed to play well within the Jets system, winning most board battles and showing a pro polish. Paul Maurice did not seem to have an issue with giving him a top 9 forward role. Questions remain as to what kind of role he will have within the organization during the season. The big left winger was immediately assigned to the Moose after the contract was announced, but will likely get time with the Jets during the season. He will be exempt from waivers for one season, and will be a UFA.
How soon will Raffl be called up? Is he the first forward to be called up? What kind of point production and role can we expect from him? Let us know.
