Boston was able to come away with the 1-0 overtime win in the duel of elite goaltenders.Carl Soderberg got the game winning goal from Johnny Manziel Boychuk 1:19 into the extra period. Both teams played a pretty even games and their netminders were nothing short of spectacular with Price and Rask stopping 34 and 33 shots respectively. The Bruins have regained home ice as they travel back to Boston and while the Habs fan in me would have loved to have seen Montreal take a 3-1 series lead, this outcome seems to point towards the inevitable game 7 double overtime that series is destined for.
In disappointing new, there were no interesting recaps of last nights games coming out of Boston. Joe Haggarty stuck to his normal writing style, but there's still at least another two games where he can lecture on the impact immediate family has on a game.

Anaheim Ducks 3 Los Angeles Kings 2
The Ducks were able to hang on late despite a Mike Richards goal in the final minute to bring it within one. The Ducks were elevated by goals from Corey Perry, TEEMU SELANNE, and Ben Lovejoy as they avoid falling into a 0-3 series hole against the Kings. The Ducks were out shot and out hit the entire night but were still able to find a way to win. So far the home fans in this series have not been going home happy as the road team has won every tilt and the Ducks will need to continue that trend Saturday night at the Staples Center.
