The Night That Was: Hab a Good Night

Recap:

Montreal Canadiens 0 New York Rangers 1

In another must win game the Habs played one of their worst games and Dustin Tokarski played his little goalie heart out. The Habs came up short and the Rangers won the right to try to not be swept by the still to be determined Western Conference Champion. (Yes, I’m saying that now).

St. John’s IceCaps 2 Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins

Heh, a team associated with the Winnipeg Jets is one win away from the AHL finals. Michael Hutchinson is still a good goalie.

I love Bob Cole. Bruce Arthur manages to explain why I love him perfectly.

Phil Jackson knows that NHL players are not supposed to touch the Conference Championship Trophy; which is stupid.

Rene Bourque was an anomaly this postseason; also look at Dave Bolland on that chart.

Some concerning comments on concussions from Josh Gorges. Players lie to the trainers so I guess it isn't all on the teams then.

And insight into the league's concussion protocol. Is Bill Daly serious?

Every NHL teams first tweet! The Jets account hasn't gotten better.

Brian Sutherby offers insight into the NHL Draft Combine and shares a funny story.

Kris Versteeg and Joel Quenneville are not a match made in heaven; actually Versteeg may not be a favourite of coaches in general.

We can dream Winnipeg, we can dream about having a junior team.

Chris Boyle on what has happened to Rick Nash.

Tyler Dellow on the Los Angeles Kings and their suddenly apparent offence.
