Anthony Peluso signs on for another 2 years with the Jets

The parade of signings keeps marching along, as Anthony Peluso joins the growing list of names to secure their services with the Winnipeg Jets, signing a 2 year deal that will have a cap hit of $562,500 each year. The big bruising winger played in only 5 games last year before busting his hand on Aaron Volpatti’s skull, but he made a lot of fans as he easily won two fights he got himself into, while adding two assists.

This adds another body to the plethora of bottom 6 forwards that the Jets now have kicking around, and he will join players such as Eric Tangradi, James Wright, Matt Halischuk, Eric O`Dell and the legendary Chris Thorburn in competition for playing time. Anything is better than Chris Thorburn, and Coach Noel believes he actually has some decent hands, when he’s not breaking them on people’s foreheads…
