The phone call you never want to get came for 3 Winnipeg Jets players this afternoon, as Maxime Macenauer, Spencer Machacek and Derek Meech all learned they are being sent down to the St. John’s IceCaps to give the Jets their required 23 man roster.
It's unfortunate for the M&M&M trio, as they were unable to get a chance to prove themselves in a preseason game. Instead it's back to the farm and the Jets deal with what they have. And what is that exactly?
