Two weeks ago, we exposed you all to the future of SB Nation United.
Today, we take that one step further.
Before we start showing you all the bells and whistles that are entailed with our new platform, we will first explain some of the main benefits associated with this overhaul.
Here is are just a few of the major improvements SB Nation United will feature:
- SB Nation United is going to make all of our sites load faster and run smoother, meaning you can get to the content you want faster.
- SB Nation United is going to make sure that you're seeing the best and brightest content up front with our flexible layout, modern design and reduction of clutter.
- SB Nation United is going to make the experience on our sites run seamlessly from every platform, whether mobile, tablet or computer. No matter where you are, the experience will not change.
- SB Nation United will not take away or change any of the community elements you love like FanPosts and FanShots and GameThreads.
These modifications will be coming very soon, so be prepared for drastic change.

We have been given an incredible amount of editing flexibility as it relates to our front page. Above is just one of the layout options that we have at our disposal with the new site. Below are three more examples. If there is a prevalent story that we want to feature without it getting shuffled down the page, we now have that ability.
We also have the ability to feature one prominent story while having the rest appear in reverse chronological order, much like things are right now.
Though we don’t have many participants, Fan Shots are a huge reason for SB Nation’s success. We want to hear from you and now have the ability to feature your posts in a way that we never could before. So don’t be a stranger and share your views with the community!
Our new mobile platform is set to mirror exactly what you see on a PC or a Mac.
