Alexei Ponikarovsky weighs in on lockout talk: "You’re waiting to see what’s going to happen, you’re still training hard to get ready for the training camp. If it’s not going to happen maybe you’ll take a little break and then regroup and go again. We’ll see. It’s hard to say right now how long it’s going to take and how long we have to wait for it." [WFP]
Andrew Ladd give his thoughts as well: "Our offer is more on track than theirs and theirs was a pretty low-ball offer to start off with and they haven’t really made any concessions so far. We seem to be at an impasse right now. Everyone is kind of drawing a line in the sand and we don’t feel comfortable moving from where we are until they move a lot more." [Canoe]
