As per Scott Brown of TNSE, the Winnipeg Jets have re-signed centre Ben Maxwell and signed goaltender Mark Dekanich. Terms of both contracts have yet to be disclosed. Last year as a member of the St. John's IceCaps, Maxwell appeared in 43 games and registered 25 points (8G, 17A). He also suited up for 15 NHL games between the Winnipeg Jets and Anaheim Ducks. Dekanich is a 26 year old goaltender from North Vancouver, BC spent last season with the Springfield Falcons of the AHL -- affiliate to the Columbus Blue Jackets, but due to an ankle injury, only played in 5 regular season games. His last full season was 2010-11 when he started 43 games for the Milwaukee Admirals (NSH), posting a .931 SV% and 2.02 GAA and 23 wins.
